U here now..Tuesday afternoon is not here

I am surprised how much affection was given to the Lincoln train that traveled through the few states it went from Washington D.C. to Illinois.

They had a service in every major city of each State the Lincoln train went through. President Lincoln became Father Abraham to Saint Abe on this journey. All of this comes from Bloody Crimes. At the same time as this was happening Jefferson Davis was trying to figure out how to continue the Civil War even though his armies have all given up and gone home.

I picked up seven books from the library today. Good reads through Christmas. Not much TV so reading is my Christmas avocation.

Tomorrow I am making fudge....and reading....
