This picture is my wife now. It is the last picture I can show of my wife. This picture was taken in Utah before we met each other. Her name now is Helen Schwindt.
She is somewhat younger than me, but I won't tell how much younger.
I am reading three books now. One is The Cove, a library book. The second one is Catching Fire, the second book in the series of The Hunger Games. The last one is a Rizzoli and Isles book on my Kindle 3. I am reading Catching Fire on my Kindle Fire.
This is the first time I have read more than one book at a time.
I mowed the lawn here today. After finishing I was very thirsty, but one cup of cold water was insufficient for me. So for the first time this year, I had a bottle of beer. It is Red Chair beer from the Deschutes Brewery in Bend. It is Pale Ale and is quite good.
I do promise to write more regularly here. I have been ignoring my blog but now I am back here.

Hi Steve, Kathy here, you got married??? Wow, Congratulations! Perfect timing, Evan, Woody and I are moving in with Nolan August 1st. I assume you will have moved to your new home with her by then. My house is almost sold. Scary to take this step but we have thought alot about it and it is time.
